Switchable Glass, also known as Smart Glass or Privacy Intelligent Glass, is a type of glass that can change its properties from transparent to opaque, or vice versa, with the help of an electrical current. This PDLC Intelligent Glass is made by laminating a thin layer of Laminated Smart Film  between two sheets of glass. When the electrical current is applied, the liquid crystals align themselves and allow light to pass through, making the glass transparent. When the current is switched off, the liquid crystals become disordered and scatter the light, making the glass opaque. Switchable Glass is used in various applications, such as privacy windows, projection screens, and electronic displays.
